This wine shows the streak of plum and bramble flavors characteristic of tiny Bovine Vineyard. It is unusual to find a small vineyard whose grapes are good enough on their own to produce a polished, complete wine - Bovine Vineyard is a delightful example. GREAT VALUE.
Matt Compton planted BoVine Vineyard with Pommard, Wadenswil and 667 clones of Pinot Noir in Alpine, Oregon, back in 2008. The land was formerly cow pasture and we appreciate their contributions to the soil.
